Although my background was not in culture anthropology, from the beginning when I was an MA student, Dr. Steffen coached me regarding the courses that would enhance my career path. This continued through the doctorate. The doctorate from Cook has opened doors for me throughout the world where an advanced degree is not only valued but is a prerequisite to having a voice and influence. The degree has positioned me uniquely in both ministry and business projects. Today I am a Fellow in the International Academy for Intercultural Research and a Fulbright scholar in cultural anthropology. Thank you CSIS!
