Robert Strauss (D.Miss. '08) is managing partner at Global Perspectives Consulting, an organization that provides intercultural competence training for business executives who work across cultures. In addition to this role, Robert is lead faculty of communication at Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Robert shares, "Although his background was not in culture anthropology, from the beginning when I was an M.A. student, Dr. Steffen coached me regarding the courses that would enhance my career path. This continued through the doctorate. My doctorate from Cook has opened doors for me throughout the world where an advanced degree is not only valued but is a prerequisite to having a voice and influence. The degree has positioned me uniquely in both ministry and business projects. Today, I am a Fellow in the International Academy for Intercultural Research and a Fulbright Scholar in cultural anthropology. Thank you, Cook School of Intercultural Studies!"
